The director initially announced his plans to shoot the film with Kareena Kapoor but after they fell out due to 'creative' differences, the film had been shelved. Now the project is back on. Katrina Kaif was also rumoured to be in with a chance of getting the role. The film will be based on Marilyn Monroe's life and tragic death.

It would have been awesome to debut the song with a live performance but it turns out she was too busy shooting and couldn't take time out for rehearsals. Deepi is currently shoooting 'Aarakshan' with Saif Ali Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.
