★Rani Mukherji★ Bombay Talkies

Rani Mukherji has been pretty quiet for the last few years, but we've seen a lot more of her lately. She had two releases in the last quarter of 2012: Aiyyaa and Talaash, the latter of which earned her a nomination for Filmfare Award For Best Supporting Actress.

As a delight for all Rani fans, here she is starring in one of the four short films as part of an anthology which celebrates 100 years of Hindi cinema. The film is called Bombay Talkies, and is directed by the likes of Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibaker Banerjee. The film also includes a cameo appearance from Katrina Kaif who seems to be playing an angel, as seen in the trailer below.

★Priyanka Chopra★ Item Queen

Priyanka Chopra | Babli Badmaash
Priyanka Chopra finally agreed to do an item number. Yes she was seen in a cameo appearance alongside Shah Rukh Khan in 2009's Billu but that was not a full on item song in our eyes.

The track has been specifically composed for her by veteran Anu Malik - with vocals from the greatest pop voice of this generation, the one and only Sunidhi Chauhan.

The track of course is titled 'Babli Badmaash' - it has a late 70s/early 80s post-disco vibe to it. It's got to be a grower because on the first few listens it doesn't seem the most catchiest of tunes. Check it out.

★Rani Mukherji★ is back! ★Aiyyaa★

The former Queen B of Bollywood is back with a bang. The trailer to her first flick since early 2011's No One Killed Jessica has just hit the net and the viewers are in for a treat as the snippet shows Rani try her hand at an out-and-out comedy - her first since 2005's Bunty Aur Babli - in which she was at her peak.

Rani is the actress with the second most Filmfare Award trophies with 7 (behind Jaya Bachchan who has 8). She also holds a record for being til date the only actress to win Best Actress + Best Supporting Actress in the same year. And she also was the third woman to win Best Actress in consecutive years. Aiyyaa may be another feather in her cap.

The movie looks fresh and exciting. The supporting cast look great. Music by Amit Trivedi is sure to be rocking - so we wish Rani and the team all the best, because let's be honest... how many divas from today's generation can match up to the talent shown in this trailer?

It's an exciting time for talented actresses with Kareena's Heroine, Priyanka's Barfi! just around the corner. Sridevi's long awaited comeback English Vinglish is also due next month. And Madhuri will start shooting for Gulab Gang in November. Here come the girls!
