The poster of Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl has finally been unveiled. The project stars one of ther hottest new girls on the block Anushka Sharma and pairs her opposite Ranveer Singh once again following their smash hit movie with the same director in last year's Band Baaja Baaraat. The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra's cousin Parineeti Chopra as well as Dipannita Sharma and Aditi Sharma.

The much anticipated "Desi Boyz" trailer has just been unveiled. The film stars UBDs Deepika Padukone and Chitrangda Singh alongside John Abraham and Akshay Kumar. The film has been shot in London and Brighton in the U.K. Check out the poster and trailer below. There is not much action from the girls but it still looks intriguing.

A couple of new screen shots have leaked online this week from the upcoming action film 'Don 2'.

Priyanka Chopra, will be reprising her role in the sequel to the 2006 smash hit - which is almost unheard of in Bollywood. Every sequel you look at (and there have been many) will usually keep the hero but switch the heroine for a younger model. Another recent exception to this rule has been Kareena Kapoor who starred in the 'Golmaal' series. Coincidentally Kareena also starred in the prequel aka Farhan Akhtar's remake however no scope for her to be seen in the follow-up, unless as a ghost, as she was killed-off in the last installment.

A new addition to the team is fellow beauty queen Lara Dutta. Both Lara and Priyanka competed in the Miss India 2000 pageant and each won their respective international titles: Miss Universe and Miss World respectively. Then not only did they debut in Bollywood in the same year - but in the same film 'Andaaz' in 2003 . So to say that these two ladies have a little history behind them is an understatement in Bollywood terms.

Journalists have had many a field-day/month/year at the prospect of any alleged catfights between the two super novas. But truth be told, they remained friendly with each other. They are both very strong women and didn't feel the need to bitch about one another. This is the modern Hindi film actress. Gone are the days of stamping on each other's feet during song shootings or fiercely ignoring each other on the sets .

So back to the film, here are those aforementioned shots. Any info of Lara's character in the film is yet to surface but the UBD blog will have it's eyes peeled. 'Don 2' opens worldwide December 23rd 2011.

I could not believe my eyes. The ultimate item queen of the 90s with smash hits such as 'Tu Cheez' (Mohra, 1994), 'Shaher Ki Ladki' (Rakshak, 1996), Kaale Kaale Baal (Ziddi, 1997) and many more is back with a bang. The promo video to her new song in 'Bbudah Hoga Terra Baap' has just been released and she looks incredible. Check it out.

Raveena's last film was released in 2006 and since then she's been concentrating on her family life, but over the last year or so she has been attending many public events and looking great, as seen here at a childrens event.

The hot new track "Chandigarh Di Star" has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar and rendered by Sunidhi Chauhan who I believe will be lending her vocals to Ravs for the first time in her career. Here's a cute picture of Sunidhi as a child with Raveena in the 90s. How adorable.

Movie Review: Ready

I wasn't even planning on watching this movie for a few reasons. The biggest reason is the director: Anees Bazmee. After I wasted my money watching his disaster 'No Problem' last year, which is easily one of the worst movies I have seen in the last 15 years. I also skipped the universally panned 'Thank You' earlier this year.

The second reason is Salman Khan. When will he learn how to act instead of posing in front of the camera? In all of his latest movies it seems like I am watching an episode of 'The Salman Khan Show'. He will rip his shirt off. He will dance in foreign locations with girls who look like his grand-daughters (Asin, Zarine Khan). And he will fumble his way through horrible dialogues in the same monotone stance he seems to be so comfortable with.

I used to love him in the early days. His debut in 1989's 'Maine Pyar Kiya' right up to 1999's 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. After that he really lost his magic. I suppose the break-up really affected him.

Nevertheless I was willing to give the movie a chance. But how is it possible when the star doesn't know what the act in acting means and the mastermind doesn't know what the direct in director means.

The only saving grace, bar a couple of cheap jokes was of course the UBD Asin. She came back after a flop (again with Salman, 'London Dreams' in 2009), despite making a huge debut with 'Ghajini' the previous year.

Asin played her comic role very well and looked stunning, but she became one of the extras in the second half taking a back seat while 'Sallu-bhai' as he is lovingly known continues to run the show.

The flaws of the film lie in the screenplay and story - both of which are wafer thin and confusing to say the least. Next there are far too many characters, none of which are well defined. The 'humour' was almost non-existant: cut to the house maid speaking in broken English for a few 'laughs': terrible.

I thought there sorts of crap movies were left in the mid-90s, but no. Throw in a few guest appearances (Ajay Devgan, Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut, Zarine Khan), some hot songs, some foreign locales and some cheap jokes, backed with a ton of promotion and bang you have a hit on your hands.

Finally, please someone show Zarine Khan to the nearest gym. She looked awful. No style, no grace, no adah. Uff!

So the trailer of the much anticipated summer movie starring UBDs Katrina and Kalki has been aired, let's take a look at it:

Well that was disappointing. Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest, if not the finest of actors to have debuted in the last 20 years. Abhay Deol was superb in Dev.D and Aisha, and Farhan Akhtar has excelled in films like Rock On and Karthik Calling Karthik. But here they come together and it seems the magic is missing. Katrina looks mis-cast. I expected a lot more from Zoya, as her last film Luck By Chance was amazing. The only thing I found appealing was Kalki Koechlin - and let's be honest, nobody was expecting to notice her much.

Well I know it's only a trailer - and the movie could still be good. So time will tell. What do you think?

Upcoming Summer Film Posters: Where are the ladies?

There has been a bit of a dry spell at the theatres lately. Of course this was due to the Cricket World Cup held in India this year. Last week Kangana Ranaut's 'Game' came and sunk without a trace. This week sees the release of Sonam Kapoor's 'Thank You' but the bad reviews are pouring in and it just spells disaster. All we can do is pin our hopes on the upcoming films of the summer, however there is one issue on my mind. WHERE ARE THE GIRLS? - Let's take a look at the recently unveiled posters for the biggies being released this hot summer season. Where is Asin? Katrina? Sonam? These girls are gorgeous and can hold their own on screen so why are they missing from the posters? Maybe I'm making it a bigger deal than it is, but it's just something that I noticed. Although I must say that Hrithik looks super awesome in ZMND.
