So the trailer of the much anticipated summer movie starring UBDs Katrina and Kalki has been aired, let's take a look at it:

Well that was disappointing. Hrithik Roshan is one of the finest, if not the finest of actors to have debuted in the last 20 years. Abhay Deol was superb in Dev.D and Aisha, and Farhan Akhtar has excelled in films like Rock On and Karthik Calling Karthik. But here they come together and it seems the magic is missing. Katrina looks mis-cast. I expected a lot more from Zoya, as her last film Luck By Chance was amazing. The only thing I found appealing was Kalki Koechlin - and let's be honest, nobody was expecting to notice her much.

Well I know it's only a trailer - and the movie could still be good. So time will tell. What do you think?

May 15th is the birthday of the most beautiful, gracious and talented leading lady of Hindi cinema: Madhuri Dixit.

This year Mads turns 44. We wish her all the best and hope she signs a film soon. 2011 has been a great year for her with the mega successful stint as judge on Jhalak Dikhlaja and the many many awards bestowed upon her.

Aishwarya Signs Madhur Film

Celebrated film director Madhur Bhandarkar has finally signed Aishwarya Rai on for his next film "Heroine". As we all know, he initially approached Kareena Kapoor for the role which will be based on Marilyn Monroe. Kareena was pondering with the offer for more than a year but rejected it in the end.

Madhur had wanted to collaborate with Aishwarya for many years now, and although he stated many times that he wrote the role with Bebo in mind, I think Ash is the right choice. The film will be produced by UTV and is set to hit the floors later on in the year.

Here is the team at the Cannes Film Festival where the movie was announced officially.

Sonam Kapoor Heading To Cannes

The fashionista herself Sonam Kapoor was papped at Mumbai Airport. The 25 year old is making her way over to France to attend the Cannes Film Festival. This will be her first appearance since joining films in 2007 with her debut film in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Saawariya'. She will join other UBDs including Aishwarya Rai and Minissha Lamba. Rani Mukerji was also due to attend however she pulled out at the last minute due to her father falling ill. We wish the Mukerji's our best wishes.

In the meantime let's check out Sona's outfit. I think she is werkin' it! Gorl knows how to dress.
