So I saw the list and I was like WTF. Motherf***** Where the hell is Rani Mukherji? Her performance in No One Killed Jessica was outstanding but instead they nominate the likes of Katrina Kaif who barely did anything in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. Cannot believe the idiocy! Boo.
I hope Filmfare, IIFA, Star Screen etc will not ignore Rani's maha performance.

Filmfare Awards 2012

There have been many great performances this year by out favourite divas.Here are my choices:

All 5 have done very well this year but I think the standouts were: Rani, Priyanka and Vidya. Kareena was superb in the second half of Bodyguard and Ra.One but the roles lacked some meat. Kangana was good but has a way to go. Rani was absolutely fantastic. Priyanka was excellent but the characterisation was on the weak side. I think Vidya Balan has outshone everyone this year.

Other mentions:
Katrina Kaif - she was good in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara but not great.
Asin - She didn't have much to do in Ready but she performed well with what she had.
Deepika Padukone - She is falling down the rankings fast. No good performances this year.
Anushka Sharma - She was very charming in Patiala House and rocked in Ladies Vs. Ricky Bahl
Sonam Kapoor - She was very good in Mausam.
